According to a report by HuffPost and the Sacramento Bee, months after the Campfire tore through Paradise, California; the town is now facing another serious problem, as its water appears to be contaminated with cancer-causing benzene.
Water officials reportedly said 'the full extent of the contamination is not yet known,' and detailed a long, expensive process needed to test and clear the system before water could be considered safe for drinking.
